Electroluminescence Testing (EL Testing) is a non

destructive testing technology based on the phenomenon of electroluminescence. The principle involves applying a forward bias to the photovoltaic module, which excites electrons within the module to a higher energy state. When these electrons return to a lower energy state, they release energy in the form of photons, producing nearinfrared light. The intensity and distribution of these photons are closely related to the internal structure and defects of the module. By capturing these light signals with a highsensitivity CCD camera and converting them into visual images, the internal defects of the module can be intuitively observed.

二、EL檢測(cè)的主要作用
